VeeGees Plant-Based Cuisine Based in San Rafael, CA is a New Pop Up and Catering Company for the San Francisco Bay area. We create a wide range of California style cuisine that is all sourced locally organic as much as possible. VeeGees uses high quality ingredients using extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil and Miyokos butter, not the highly processed vegetable, canola oil and seed oils that other companies and restaurants use which are toxic.
Chef Owner Rozanna has been cooking for 35 years and catering for 25 years. In the last 6 years she has been adapting her menus for her plant-based customers including her daughter and herself. Rozanna has great enthusiasm for plant-based techniques that are required to make the dishes taste like conventional cooking. She has done events where customers have asked her not to reveal that it is plant-based to their guests until after they have had it and when she did, they were pleasantly surprised how it tasted so good and that there were no animal products used. Her penne pasta alfredo with roasted mushrooms is a customer favorite and she often receives inquiries asking for the recipe!
Eating healthy is important and Chef Rozanna wants you to experience a better way of eating and cooking which of course is great for the planet and better for the animals.
